We are pleased to announce that the new SportE2 Newsletter is available online in the Public Documents section.

The activities of integration of the SportE2 modules at pilot sites are progressing at a steady pace. The television channel Euronews has been invited to the on-going demonstration trials at FIDIA in Cesano (Rome) and a video has been produced which would give you a flavour of what is going on in the project and the results achieved.

During project consortium meeting, a first communication test has been completed successufully! How Module (Smart Metering) deployed in Coimbra (Portugal), When Module (Integrated Control) deployed in Bergamo (Italy) and Kubik Building Management System in Bilbao (Spain) exchanged information without any problem. SportE2 project will soon release its prototypes, stay tuned! 

SportE² has been invited at the International Conference “Transmission and Distribution - Smart Grids- Europe 2012", held in Amsterdam.
SportE2 has been presented by Christian Mastrodonato on 10th October during the session "Initiatives and innovation for the connected consumer".

SportE² will be presented by Christian Mastrodonato during the workshop “Challenges, opportunities and lessons learned from ongoing Research projects" on the 24^th of October.

SportE² held its third project meeting in Porto Portugal at consortium partner SELF Energy offices. You can find the topics of discussion at the following link.

Tom Messervey and Pierluigi Marzorati participated to the Italian National Radio Show Mr Kilowatt, presenting SportE Project to thousands of Italian spectators. You can find the podcast at the following link.

The meeting focused on the review of the first project deliverables and also on the deifinion of the SportE2 technology paltform and resulting commercial products.
During the meeting took place an in depth visit of the Italian pilot FIDIA.
